Licensing, maintenance and access
How does IDEA StatiCa licensing work?+
Licenses are online and account-based. A cloud license server is created for each customer, and you access the license from any device with your email credentials. Standard licenses allow up to 7 users per license product; enterprise licenses are unlimited.
Is there a single or network configuration?+
No. All licenses consist of floating seats. You can switch devices, return the license to the pool, share it with colleagues, and work from the road or home.
What is the difference between a subscription and a perpetual license?+
The perpetual license is a time-unlimited entitlement, but maintenance must be purchased on top and renewed annually to receive new versions and technical support. The subscription automatically includes maintenance, is easy to extend, and lets you add seats as your needs grow.
How does maintenance work?+
Maintenance gives you two things: technical issues solved by in-house specialists, and access to the current version, with two major releases plus minor updates per year. It is included in all subscription licenses and purchased separately for perpetual licenses.
Is the license country-limited?+
Yes. Standard licenses can only be used in the country specified at purchase, usually the billing address country. Multinational usage is available with the Enterprise license.
